DIRECTING
Though seemingly nothing to do with Martial Arts, her performance career helped Laoshi Markle with directing performances and demonstrations, with visual art and design, writing and speaking to large crowds. A graduate of University at Buffalo, she has written original plays, directed, and even became a professional actress for a short period. She has written, directed and narrated a short film, and two documentaries. Most significantly, the documentaries were about Qigong, and Education and are still used today to promote the subject matter. Yearly, she also choreographs and directs unique Kung fu, Tai Chi performances for the UB Main Stage Theatre. |
In the future she plans to direct other documentaries and videos promoting the traditions of Chinese Martial arts, Buddhism, Meditation etc.

A graduate of UB's Theatre and Dance department, Laoshi Markle has familiarity with performance and performance production. Laoshi Markle is sometimes available to perform as a soloist with the skills listed below. She also directs Gold Summit students, Instructors in group performances.
